The public relations officer, Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe has taken to his official Twitter handle few hours ago to share the report of a 21 year old girl who duped her parents to make her boyfriend happy.
According to the statement given by the girl who introduced herself as princess, her boyfriend had no money and so she together with her boyfriend faked her kidnap inorder to get money from her parents.
Speaking further, she disclosed that she told her boyfriend to fake her kidnap and demand the sum of 2 million from her parents whom she noted were well to do.
On getting the money from her parents, she gave her boyfriend 1.5m and took 500 thousand naira but unluckily for them, her parents traced the kidnappers only to find out it was their daughter and her boyfriend.
In her words, she said “I faked my kidnap and got 2m from my parents, gave my boyfriend 1.5m and took 500k”.
