I lost my sister to cancer last year, and she was honestly like a second mother to me. Anytime anything happened in our family, she was always the person we called to settle issues and guide everyone.
Something happened today, and instinctively I picked up my phone to call her. Then it suddenly hit me again that the person I’m trying to call passed away last year. That realisation broke me all over again”.
