Maverick musician Seun Kuti has said he will not reconcile with Afrobeats star Wizkid, insisting that their dispute is permanent.
The rift began after Wizkid asserted he was greater than Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. The comment came in response to Seun Kuti urging fans to stop comparing the _Ojuelegba_ singer to the late music icon.
Speaking on a recent podcast, Seun Kuti was asked if he had settled the feud with Wizkid.
The host asked: “Have you and Wizkid settled your Beef?”
Kuti replied: “It is on for life. I don’t have anything to say about him but it is on for life. You don’t say things about my dad and then it is fine. There is no coming back from that.”
Seun Kuti maintained that Wizkid’s remarks about his late father, Fela, made reconciliation impossible.
