According to a report by the Times of Israel on Tuesday May 26, 2026, the Israeli military reported that some of the explosive drones that had been fired from Lebanon had been intercepted, while others had landed inside Israeli territory close to the border, as they entered into northern Israel on Tuesday afternoon.…....
Several towns in the north had earlier heard the sound of air raid sirens, alerting their inhabitants to the impending danger. The Israeli Defence Forces report that although air defences were able to shoot down some drones, others still fell in close proximity to the Lebanon border.
No injuries were reported right away, despite the occurrence.
Additionally, the military made it clear that one of the alarms that went off in the border community of Arab al-Aramshe was actually a false alarm due to what it called an inaccurate identification.
Hezbollah drone assaults along the northern border have escalated tensions and put nearby towns on high alert, as they have become more commonplace.
