Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah is celebrating her late colleague, Beverly Afaglo, on her posthumous birthday.
Kemi Filani reported last week that Beverly died at age 42, and her musician husband, Eugene Baah, announced the sad news of her demise.
On Thursday, May 28th, 2026, would have been the actress and media personality’s 43rd birthday.

Taking to her Instagram page to celebrate her, Jackie said her death doesn’t feel real. She appreciated the deceased for the memories, laughter, and the moments they shared on set.
“Happy heavenly birthday. It still doesn’t feel real. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the moments we shared on set. Rest gently, legend. @beverly_afaglo”.


Mourning her, Juliet Ibrahim said she was speechless and hurt because she lost a good friend and a kind soul. Praying for her soul to rest in peace, she sent condolences to her family and friends.

In January, gospel singer and evangelist Bunmi Akinaanu, better known as Omije Ojumi, passed away. According to reports, the singer took ill around 2025, and all efforts to get her back on her feet were futile.
The death of Bunmi Akinaanu came after the death of popular singer, Aduke Gold, who was pronounced dead by medical experts.
