A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ibrahim Wala, alleged that the party’s presidential primary election was manipulated and compromised by widespread irregularities.
Wala, a known ally of former Rivers State governor and presidential aspirant, Rotimi Amaechi, claimed that the outcome of the exercise was allegedly determined outside the official voting process.
The ADC chieftain made the allegation on Wednesday while reacting to the outcome of the party’s presidential primary election, which has already been rejected by Amaechi over what he described as a lack of transparency and fairness....... .
