Lady sparks reactions after revealing why she has no desire to go to heaven

A lady has sparked intense debate on social media after openly sharing why she has no desire to go to heaven after death.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she argued that the biblical description of heaven does not appeal to her, particularly because she believes it lacks female representation and leadership.

In her words, she said:

“I don’t wish to go to heaven. I don’t fantasise or have the thrill whatsoever to go to heaven after I die. Firstly, heaven doesn’t sound like a safe place for women.”

According to her, heaven appears to be male-centred, citing references to God the Father, the Son, and male angels such as Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer.

She questioned why there are no notable female angels mentioned in the Bible and said she finds it difficult to imagine spending eternity in a place where she believes women are not adequately represented.

The lady also argued that her personality and lifestyle do not align with her perception of heaven, describing herself as someone who enjoys freedom, entertainment, and asking questions.

“I like to have fun. I like to listen to secular music. I would be so bored if all I had to do every day was sing praise and worship. I want to listen to Davido, Drake, Seyi Vibez and Omah Lay. I want to have parties and hang out with friends,” she added.

She further described herself as naturally rebellious, noting that she dislikes environments she considers overly restrictive or discouraging of curiosity and questioning.

Her comments quickly generated mixed reactions online. While some people criticised her views and disagreed with her interpretation of heaven, others defended her right to express her opinions and ask questions about religion.
