Eyewitness accounts shared online indicate that efforts to recover his body were initiated shortly after the incident but were disrupted.

The family cited challenges linked to a fuel strike that limited movement and emergency response logistics. As a result, the search was reportedly halted overnight.

In an emotional appeal, the family and friends have called on members of the public, volunteers, and anyone with the means to assist to join them in continuing the search and recovery efforts.

They say operations are expected to resume at Kieni Forest Waterfalls, as they remain hopeful for closure and the dignified retrieval of their loved one.
