The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has raided a hidden laboratory concealed within Abidga Forest, resulting in the arrest of 10 suspects including three Mexican production specialists and a Nigerian drug kingpin identified as Anochili Innocent.
During the operation, agents seized over 2.4 tons of methamphetamine along with chemicals valued at more than 480 billion naira, an amount capable of producing millions of street doses.
The syndicate had disguised its operations as a farm to avoid detection.
NDLEA Chairman Mohamed Buba Marwa described the haul as staggering and identified the network as the Anochili Innocent syndicate.
He vowed that the agency would continue to track down and dismantle all drug cartels operating within Nigeria.
