Man’s Solution Lies in God, Says Dr. Chris Okafor

Chris Okafor, the Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Worldwide, has stated that the solution to human challenges lies solely in God, stressing that genuine service to God through soul winning attracts divine intervention and protection.

Okafor made the declaration during the Divine Intervention and Breakthrough Service held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the international headquarters of Grace Nation Worldwide in Ojodu Berger, Lagos.

Speaking during the service, the cleric said no earthly battle is beyond God’s power to solve, regardless of its magnitude.

According to him, people who serve God sincerely, especially through evangelism and soul winning, position themselves for divine blessings and breakthroughs.

The cleric emphasized the importance of evangelism, describing soul winning as one of the key assignments expected of believers.

He noted that many people go through difficult battles because they fail to understand the spiritual principles and benefits attached to winning souls into the kingdom of God.

According to Okafor, serving God through evangelism compels divine intervention in the affairs of believers.

“Working for God through soul-winning endeavours prompts Elohim’s provision of solutions to various battles, underscoring that the Son of Man is God’s most prized possession, and serving Him guarantees blessings,” he stated.

Speaking further on what he described as the value of evangelism, the cleric said the devil recognizes and fears individuals who genuinely serve God with dedication and sincerity.

He added that one of the benefits of soul winning is divine protection against evil attacks.

Okafor also maintained that winning souls for God’s kingdom brings spiritual wealth and blessings, stressing that believers must remain committed to spreading the Gospel.

Highlighting practical ways of evangelism, the preacher encouraged Christians to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ everywhere they go.

He urged believers to preach messages centered on blessings, transformation, testimonies, signs, wonders, answered prayers, justification and hope rather than condemnation.

According to him, the Gospel possesses the power to transform lives and destroy the works of darkness.

The cleric further stated that believers who seek access to divine power must remain prayerful and spiritually devoted.

He encouraged Christians to embrace fervent prayers and spiritual exercises, including speaking in tongues, as a means of drawing strength from God.

“As one prays intensely, they harness the power of divine intervention, and when divine mercy reaches you, all that concerns you breaks free from constraints, given that light conquers darkness,” he said.

The Divine Intervention and Breakthrough Service also featured testimonies, healings, restoration, deliverance and prayers for worshippers seeking solutions to various challenges.
