Members of the All Progressives Congress in Ijesa North Federal Constituency on Saturday, protested against the endorsement of the lawmaker representing the constituency, Hon Wole Oke for the 2027 general election.
Oke, who is the Director General of the APC campaign council was reportedly endorsed by the leadership of the party in the district on Friday.
However, a video circulating online, showed the members of the APC protesting against the decision.

The members who were armed with placards said it is the time of Oriade to produce the next federal lawmaker who will represent the constituency.
They also insisted that Oke who is from Esa-Oke, Obokun local government should step down and allow someone from Oriade to contest.
