Nigerian singer Davido has finally taken delivery of his Mercedes-Maybach.
In a video making the rounds, the father of five was captured with his crew as his new car was offloaded at his house.
According to reports, the singer is one of the first Africans, and possibly the first African artist, to own the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680, which is worth $224,900.
Last year, the superstar singer spent millions on a new Lamborghini Revuelto. The singer’s luxury car was specially built for him, and is worth $600,000.
Also, last year, the singer took delivery of his Tesla Cyber Truck, which he acquired in November, out of boredom to add to his Rolls-Royce.
Last month, the singer gifted aide Lati a new Range Rover Vogue LWB.
Davido didn’t stop there, he also spent millions on a customised pendant named after his latest album, 5ive. His jeweller, Benny Da Jeweller, made the news, sharing clips of the new pendant and declaring it the world’s biggest pendant.
On Chioma’s 30th birthday in April, Davido threw a surprise birthday party for her in Atlanta and gifted her a brand new G-wagon, an AMG G63.
In 2024, Davido had made himself a priority as he splashed millions on new properties for himself.
The singer had gifted himself a Richard Mille wristwatch as a birthday gift. Davido shared a video of the adorable moment he was presented with his new possession, which he wore on his wrist and flaunted.
The music star didn’t only acquire new cars, he also took delivery of his private jet, a Bombardier 7500 tear rubber which was worth between $68 million to $78 million. The news left many talking, while some congratulated him over his latest possession, others expressed disbelief, calling him a clout chaser.
On his birthday, Davido received a brand car as a birthday gift. The singer was gifted a new Escalade 600 premium luxury by one of his favorite automobile companies, M Jautos. The company made the good news known via its official Instagram page as they appreciated Davido for his constant patronage.
