In a viral video making rounds on social media, the entrepreneur claimed that anyone who ventures into the perfume business with a capital of ₦5 million could make up to ₦3 million monthly in profit.
According to her, she once produced a perfume with ₦500,000 and eventually made about ₦800,000 profit from the venture.
She said:
“If you go into perfume business with 5 million naira, every month you can be making 3 million naira as profit.”
Her statement quickly triggered reactions from Nigerians online, with many sharing mixed opinions about the business model and its sustainability.
