Nigerian woman calls out pastor Adeboye over silence on insecurity in Nigeria

Popular TikTok creator Mama G has stirred mixed reactions online after posting a video in which she strongly criticized the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Her comments followed reports that a planned peaceful protest by RCCG members in Oyo State, linked to the recent kidnapping of pupils and teachers in the state, was allegedly halted.

In the viral video, Mama G alleged that church members intending to protest over the abduction were stopped from doing so.

She further claimed, without verified evidence, that the decision may have been influenced by the church’s connection with Nigeria’s First Lady, who is reportedly a pastor within the RCCG.

Expressing strong dissatisfaction, she accused prominent religious leaders, including Pastor Adeboye, of failing to speak out adequately on national issues affecting citizens.

She also directed harsh verbal attacks and curses at him and other church leaders, blaming them for broader societal challenges and the struggles faced by ordinary Nigerians.

The allegations and claims made in the video have not been independently confirmed.

She said in part …

“You see wetin Una don turn Nigeria into Adeboye. The thing wey Una turn Nigeria into e dey sweet you. Because you and your fellow pastors and general overseer. Na God go pu***n!!sh Una.

As Una say it shall never be well with Nigerian children, as Una say it shall never be well with Nigerian children, Una see wetin happen for the community for Oyo state, Adeboye you no came out to talk.
