Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, treated her mother, Nana Otedola, to a date at Buckingham Palace.
The disc jockey shared photos and clips from their sweet moment together on Instagram. According to her, they had attended the 50-year celebration of The King’s Trust.

Earlier this year, Cuppy shared photos of herself with the King Charles, revealing that she was on ambassadorial duties.
When Cuppy had became an Ambassador of King Charles Trust International, her proud father, Femi Otedola praised her for representing Africa as he noted how she was going places.
The disc jockey had caused a stir online with her dressing for the late Queen of England’s Platinum Jubilee party, to celebrate her 70th reign on the throne. The disc jockey played dress-up for one of the events which she graced and her outfit for the event was what caught the attention of many, who compared it to a modern-day nursing outfit.
In 2022, there was a shockwave across the world when it was announced that King Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth, had died at the age of 96.
Paying her tribute, Cuppy revealed the true personality of Queen Elizabeth. She described the Queen as selfless, forced to serve her country, with no choice but to matter. She, however, carried out her royal duties gracefully until her death.
