Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his first wife, Olori Mariam Ogunwusi, have officially revealed the names of their newborn twins following the recent announcement of their birth.…....
A few days ago, the Ooni of Ife announced that he and Olori Mariam had welcomed twin boys, expressing gratitude to God while confirming that both mother and children were in good health.
According to reports making rounds online, the royal couple named their first son Prince Adelowo Adelanaire Adejare Adedunmininu Ademola Taiwo Omo Ooni Adeyeye Ojaja II.
Their second son was named Prince Adeleye Adelanaola Adejuwon Adedoyim Adebola Kehinde Omo Ooni Adeyeye Ojaja II.
Following the birth of the twins, popular prophetess Mary Olubori shared an emotional video documenting Olori Mariam Ogunwusi’s pregnancy journey and delivery experience. The touching clip captured special moments from her pregnancy through to the successful birth of the twins.
Recall that following the collapse of his marriage to Olori Naomi Silekunola, the Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi went on to marry six wives within the space of three months. The monarch tied the knot with Olori Mariam Ogunwusi, Olori Elizabeth Akinmuda, Olori Tobi Phillips, Olori Ashley Afolashade, Olori Ronke Ademiluyi, and Olori Temitope Moronkola.
While celebrating his 48th birthday and seventh coronation anniversary, the monarch explained the reason behind his marriages, stating that although he attempted to make certain personal changes, he could not go against the traditional heritage and customs of Ile-Ife.
Since remarrying, the Ooni has welcomed three children with two of his wives. He welcomed twins earlier this year with Olori Tobi Phillips and also had a baby boy with Olori Ashley.
In December 2024, Olori Naomi shocked many people after announcing the end of her three-year marriage to the monarch via a statement shared on her Instagram page.
Speaking about the failed marriage, the Ooni recalled how some people mocked him, claiming there was no respect for a king without a queen. According to him, he turned to God for guidance and reassurance, and now, he says the palace is filled with queens.
