An aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for Oshodi-Isolo II Federal Constituency, Dr. Olayinka Alausa, has congratulated Monsuru Oloyede on his emergence as the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives election in 2027.
The aspirant who lost in the primaries on Saturday, spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Sunday.
Alausa said that while the primary process came with its challenges and difficult moments, he remained committed to the principles of democracy, party unity, and the supremacy of the party.
He said: “In times like this, the strength of a political family is measured not only by victory but also by maturity, endurance, and the ability to place collective interest above personal ambition.
“I sincerely appreciate every supporter, stakeholder, youth, woman, elder, and party faithful who stood firmly with this movement throughout the journey.
“Your commitment, sacrifices, encouragement, and belief in a better Oshodi-Isolo II will never be forgotten.
“Most importantly, this moment reminds us that the greater task ahead is to reclaim Oshodi-Isolo II Federal Constituency and ensure that the people are truly represented by leaders who understand their struggles, aspirations, and developmental needs.
“The focus must remain on restoring purposeful representation and moving the constituency away from ineffective leadership that has failed to deliver meaningful impact to the people.”
Alausa also urged all supporters and members of the Omo-Alausa Movement to remain peaceful, united, hopeful, and steadfast.
He said that the journey of service to humanity does not end with an election, but in every effort aimed at uplifting the people and strengthening the constituency.
He added: “As loyal members of the party, we wish the APC and its candidate success in the coming elections and pray for greater progress, peace, and development across Oshodi-Isolo II Federal Constituency.”
