PAWECA DG has said the Fintiri Business Wallet programme is helping businesses grow and improving livelihoods across Adamawa State through targeted empowerment initiatives.
The Director General of the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA), Dr. Michael Zira, stated this while hosting a delegation from the Adamawa State Chapter of the Association of Bread Bakers at his office in Yola.
Dr. Zira said the improving economic outlook in the state is linked to the social welfare and empowerment programmes introduced by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, especially the Fintiri Business Wallet initiative.
According to him, the Fintiri administration has continued to focus on people-oriented policies, legacy projects, and welfare interventions aimed at improving the standard of living of residents across the state.
“The administration of Governor Fintiri is built on empathy, consistency, and genuine concern for the welfare of the people,” Zira said.
He noted that PAWECA’s interventions have contributed to economic growth by supporting small businesses, associations, and individuals through empowerment opportunities.
The PAWECA DG also commended Governor Fintiri for prioritising projects that directly impact citizens and urged the bread bakers association to continue supporting the administration and its programmes.
He further appealed to members of the association to pray for the Governor’s continued success and for the successful completion of his tenure.
Speaking during the visit, Chairman of the Adamawa State Bread Bakers Association, Tumba Garba, said the delegation visited PAWECA to appreciate Dr. Zira for his support and loyalty to the Governor.
Garba also thanked the agency for helping associations and individuals gain access to Fintiri Business Wallet forms, describing the programme as beneficial to many residents and business owners in the state.
“We are here to appreciate the DG for his support and for helping our members and other groups access the Fintiri Business Wallet forms,” he said.
He added that the association remains committed to supporting Governor Fintiri politically and otherwise, while backing his vision for the development and advancement of Adamawa State.
