The Nigerian content creation community has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of popular TikTok creator Monique Pearls, whose real name was Monica Okafor Owuunaka. She died at the age of 30.
Monique, originally from Cross River State and based in Abuja, was widely known for her emotional and relatable videos centered on motherhood, family life, and caregiving.
A major part of her content also featured a young girl known as Precious, a child her family brought from the village, whose relationship with Monique became a touching and consistent theme in her storytelling....... .
