RouterCall Communications has launched upgraded global communication services, including enhanced SIP trunking and integrated Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, in a move aimed at improving business connectivity and reducing operational costs.
The firm said the development would enable multinational companies, small and medium-scale enterprises, and other corporate organisations to achieve more reliable, flexible, and cost-efficient communication systems.
Speaking on the announcement, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Akindele, said the new offerings reflected the changing nature of workplace communication and the need for seamless global interaction.
He said, “The way businesses communicate is fundamentally changing, and we are at the forefront of this evolution. Our enhanced Global SIP Trunking service breaks down geographical barriers, offering businesses a truly borderless communication experience.
“Coupled with our new Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, organisations can leverage their existing collaboration platforms as fully functional, enterprise-grade phone systems, driving productivity and significant cost savings.”
The company disclosed that its upgraded SIP trunking service delivers up to 98 per cent uptime and allows businesses to establish a local presence in major Nigerian cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja, as well as in international markets.
According to the firm, the solution could reduce international call costs by as much as 60 per cent while maintaining high-quality voice connections.
RouterCall also introduced Microsoft Teams Direct Routing powered by AudioCodes Session Border Controllers, a solution designed to transform Microsoft Teams into a full private branch exchange system.
The company said the integration would enable users to make and receive calls to external landlines and mobile numbers globally from within the Teams application, while consolidating voice, video, and chat communication into a single platform.
It added that the service offers up to 99 per cent reliability and is tailored to support hybrid and remote work environments, thereby enhancing productivity.
A senior ICT consultant at the firm said the innovation was part of efforts to simplify communication technology for businesses.
“Our goal is to simplify and elevate business communications, making advanced technology accessible and reliable for every client. With these innovations, we are creating pathways for businesses to connect and thrive in the digital economy,” he said.
RouterCall Communications noted that the new offerings complement its existing suite of services, including cloud PBX, contact call centre solutions, and PRI services.
The company, which has operated for over a decade, said it remains committed to providing infrastructure that supports efficient, scalable, and globally connected business operations.
