According to eyewitness accounts, the incident happened during a late-night party at a popular club in Lagos over the weekend. Witnesses said the women allegedly ignored repeated warnings from friends and other clubgoers who advised them against taking the substance.

An eyewitness who spoke anonymously said the ladies began acting strangely minutes after consuming the substance.

People around warned them not to take it because they were not used to it, but they refused. After some minutes, they started behaving differently and later removed their clothes inside the club, the eyewitness reportedly said.

Videos from the scene, which have since circulated online, reportedly showed security personnel and other individuals attempting to calm the women and cover them while trying to restore order inside the club.

Several witnesses described the atmosphere as chaotic, with many clubgoers left shocked by the incident. Some people at the venue reportedly blamed the growing abuse of hard drugs among youths and nightlife enthusiasts.

Colorado, sometimes called Colos on the streets, is a dangerous synthetic substance believed to have strong psychoactive effects. Health experts have repeatedly warned that abuse of such substances can lead to loss of self-control, mental instability, and other serious health complications.
