The former executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson stated on his verified Facebook page on Sunday; “This afternoon, in the company of members of the National Working Committee of the NDC, it was a pleasure to receive coordinators and members of the Obidient Movement from across the country, each representing their respective states, for a useful and engaging interaction.”
He stated further; “I used the opportunity to thank them for their commitment to democratic change in Nigeria, as demonstrated during the 2023 general elections and in the period thereafter.”
He added; “I welcomed them to the NDC and urged them to liaise with their respective state chairmen of the party in order to be fully integrated into the NDC structure nationwide.”
He noted; “I told them that I appreciate what they are doing, especially from my background as one who has been in the opposition trenches from a very young age and consistently since 1998 till date.”
