The Niger State Police Command has arrested a 13-year-old boy for allegedly raping a 4-year-old girl in Bosso.…....
The spokesperson for the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, May 22, 2026 said the suspect, identified as Ibrahim Sani, lured the minor to a dilapidated building where he sexually assaulted her.
According to Abiodun, the suspect threatened to kill the child if she informed anyone.
“On 14th May 2026 at about 10pm, a report received at Bosso Div indicated that on the same date, at about 11am, one Ibrahim Sani 13yrs, residing behind Bosso Primary School, took a 4yr old girl to a dilapidated building in the same area and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her, after which he threatened to k!ll her if she attempt to inform anyone,” the statement read.
“On receipt of the report, the victim was immediately rushed to Police Clinic Minna for a medical examination.
“The suspect was also apprehended and he confessed to the crime.
Mr Abiodun said the case is still under investigation and would soon be transferred to the state criminal investigation department for further action.
“The case is still under investigation and will soon be transferred to SCID for necessary action.”
