Nigerian singer Yinka Ayefele shared a sweet moment with former Nigerian President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
The two were spotted at a recent event where Yinka was performing.



In a clip making rounds online, the former president stood up from his seat to exchange pleasantries with the legendary singer, who came to his seat. In the clip, the two hugged and shared pleasantries.

It seems Ayefele has been booked and busy this season, as earlier this month, he linked up with the Oyo State governor at Sola Sobowale’s daughter’s wedding. In the clip, Yinka was on stage performing when Makinde walked up to him, and the gospel singer serenaded him with his melodious voice. The two later exchanged hugs before the Governor walked back to his seat.
Actress, Habibat Jinad, shared her powerful vision for Yinka Ayefele. She revealed that she saw the singer walk again, and it was a shocking and beautiful moment for everyone around the world.
Recall that on the 12th of December, 1997, Yinka Ayefele was involved in a ghastly car accident, which left him confined to a whéelchair.
In 2022, Yinka marked 25 years of surviving a car accident. Sharing throwback pictures of the damaged car, he said that the accident was a turning point in his life, and expressed gratitude to God for saving his life.
In 2020, it was tears of joy for him as he was able to stand on his feet again, with the help of a highly sophisticated machine given to him by a good friend. Sharing a video of himself on his Instagram page, the musician was seen strapped to the machine, which helped him stand on his feet and was heard saying, “So I can now stand up to sing anywhere”.
