“They are getting impatient, please help us” – Abducted Oyo school principal cries out in heartbreaking new video

A new video has surfaced showing the abducted principal, Mrs Alamu, who was kidnapped during a school attack in Orrire community, Oyo State, appealing for urgent help.

In the now-viral video circulating on social media, she explained that she and others have spent about 13 days in the bush since they were abducted from Owo, urging authorities to intervene.

“About 13 days ago, we were picked from Owo, and till now, we are still in the bush. We are begging President Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde, and every other well-meaning Nigerian to please help us,” she said.

She called on Nigerian youths, the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), and other stakeholders to intervene and facilitate negotiations for their release, stressing that they are suffering under harsh conditions.

The principal further pleaded with security agencies to avoid forceful action and instead focus on dialogue and negotiation to secure their safe release.

“We are in the cold, we are under the sun, we are under the rain — both the children and the adults. Please, we are begging you in the name of God. This does not call for force at all, just negotiate and dialogue with them,” she added.

The video has sparked fresh outrage online, with many Nigerians calling for urgent government intervention and improved security measures to rescue the victims.

The Oyo school abduction continues to raise national concern as families await updates on the safe return of the kidnapped students and staff.
