Tinubu arrives Nairobi for Africa forward Summit, meets Kenyan President Ruto

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, for the Africa Forward Summit.

The Nigerian leader was received ahead of the summit proceedings, where he exchanged pleasantries with Kenyan President William Ruto.

A video shared on X by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, captured the moment Tinubu met with Ruto at the event venue.

The Nigerian president arrived in Kenya on Monday to participate in the Africa-France Summit, which is focused on issues including energy transition, green industrialisation, digital transformation, restructuring of the global financing architecture, and climate action.

The Presidency had earlier disclosed that Tinubu would present Nigeria’s reform agenda at the summit, highlighting ongoing efforts by his administration to reposition the country as a major destination for investment and economic growth.
