The National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has insisted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can still be defeated in the 2027 general elections despite the power and influence that come with being in office.
Baba-Ahmed made the statement during an interview aired on Channels Television after a presenter questioned how the opposition planned to unseat Tinubu, especially considering that he was not defeated in the 2023 election before becoming president.
Reacting to the question, Baba-Ahmed argued that any sitting president can lose an election if the opposition presents a stronger and more credible alternative to Nigerians.
