U.S. Army Tests New Low-Cost “IonStrike” Drone Interceptor in Germany

The U.S. Army’s 52nd Air Defense Artillery Brigade tested a new low-cost drone interceptor called IonStrike during exercises in Germany earlier this year, according to a newly released Army statement. Developed by DZYNE Technologies, the interceptor is designed to counter one-way attack drones, integrate with existing Army radar systems, and can reportedly abort or redirect mid-flight to better respond to swarm attacks.
