Anita died on May 14 after a short illness, and the veteran politician came out to narrate what led to his daughter’s untimely passing.
He also recalled their banter before his daughter expressed discomfort, which made him ask the driver to take him to the hospital.
During Anita’s burial, Priscilla broke down while eulogising her, noting how much she was going to miss her lastborn child.
“I will always love you. My heart. Rest in peace, my dear daughter. I do not know how to move forward. I do not know why you had to leave me so early and without warning. I can only pray and hope that you are in a better place as we continue to endure the unbearable pain of losing you. I pray that God will comfort us as a family. Hopefully, time will help reduce the pain. Personally, I know the scar will always be there. Every time I remember you, I will always try to remember the beautiful smiles,” she said.

Priscilla further added that she will focus on the beautiful moments she shared with her daughter that she believes will help her move on.
“I am sure that my life will never be the same again. Wherever you are, just know that I will miss you, and I will always love you. Rest in peace my dear daughter,” she added.
