Media personality Shade Ladipo has sparked conversation online after sharing her thoughts on modern relationships in a series of Instagram story posts.
In her post, she suggested that many women today are not as different from previous generations as they believe, noting that patterns seen in their mothers’ time are still being repeated, just in new forms.
She added that while people often assume they are more “evolved” than older generations, many are still living out similar relationship dynamics, describing it as “same sins, different writing.”
Shade also commented on men, saying the difference is that they have taken inherited behavioural patterns and amplified them, turning them into what she described as a more advanced and commercialised version of the original “blueprint.”
