Jafar Abdullahi Dabawu, an aide to the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba, has been killed after suspected armed men invaded his residence in the Maitumbi area of Minna in a late-night attack that has thrown the state into shock.
Dabawu, who also served as President of the Minna Emirate Youth Association (MEYA), was reportedly attacked around 2:00 a.m. on Thursday at his home located opposite Maitumbi Police Station, where he lived with his wife and teenage daughter.
