‘Yamayama talk, dirty talk’: Maraji reacts to old clip of Frank Edoho saying men can be in love and still cheat but women cannot

Nigerian content creator Maraji has reacted to a resurfaced throwback video of media personality Frank Edoho discussing infidelity and emotional attachment in relationships.…....

The viral clip, which originated from a podcast interview conducted about two years ago, has regained attention amid the ongoing controversies surrounding Frank Edoho’s failed marriage.

In the video, Frank Edoho argued that men are capable of loving their partners while still cheating without developing any emotional attachment to the other person.

According to him, women, on the other hand, do not possess the ability to separate emotions from intimacy.

During the interview, the broadcaster was questioned over his sweeping generalization about men and women. However, he defended his opinion by referencing his personal experience, stating:

“This is my second marriage.”

“It is possible for a man to be in love with one woman and still cheat but still be in love with that same woman. He can be on the phone now and be saying ‘oh I love you, I love you’ and then he sees another woman and he goes ‘I will call you right back’ and he is already invested…but women are not really like that.” he said

The video resurfaced on social media concurrently with widespread public scrutiny over Edoho’s marriage to his second wife, Sandra. The couple’s relationship has recently been subject to intense speculation following unverified allegations that Sandra had an extramarital affair with a singer.

Reacting to the clip, Maraji countered Edoho’s perspective, arguing that men often fail to realize women possess the exact same capacity to compartmentalise affection and maintain multiple love interests.
