“You were so tiny and fragile that I was scared and couldn’t breathe” – Priscilla Ojo reflects on delivery as son turns 9 months

Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, is celebrating her son, Rakeem, as he turns 9 months old.

Sharing photos of the baby, she noted how it was just like yesterday when she held him in her hands at the hospital. Priscy said he was so tiny and fragile that she was scared and couldn’t breathe. But now, he is all grown up.

The proud mother expressed pride in the little boy he is becoming, noting that he has brought a different kind of joy and purpose to her life that something she didn’t know was missing. She said he taught her patience, softness, and unconditional love.

“Happy 9 months, my prince @rakeem_mk 💙
Where did the time go? It feels like just yesterday I was holding you so tiny and fragile in that hospital bed, scared even to breathe too hard. And now look at you, I’m actually carrying you around, and my hand hurts, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

9 months of your smile, your belly laughs, the way your eyes light up when you see me walk into a room—9 months of watching you discover the world with so much wonder.
Seeing you learn to crawl, pull yourself up to stand, take those wobbly steps… every single milestone, big or small, melts my heart completely. You’re growing so fast, and even though I wish time would slow down, I’m so proud of the little boy you’re becoming. You’ve brought a kind of joy and purpose into my life I didn’t even know I was missing. You’ve taught me patience, softness, and what it really means to love unconditionally.

We love you more than words could ever explain, Rakeem. So muchhh. And we thank God for you every single day. You are our greatest blessing, our answered prayer, our everything”.

When her son turned 6 months old, Priscilla shared a cute video of her mini-me, expressing gratitude to her Maker for the tiny human who has stolen her heart. Priscilla affirmed her love for him and promised that they would always do everything they could to make him happy.

In another post, she gave an update on his growth, saying that Rakeem changed her in ways she can’t put into words, and appreciated him for lighting their home and making their bond stronger than ever.

Recently, the proud mother shared a cute video on her Snapchat page of her son taking his first steps with the aid of a moving machine.

The couple shared a video of them teaching their son how to use the stairs. The clip captured Priscilla, who was in front of her son, crawling on the step as she teaches him, while Juma stood behind to prevent any disaster.

In a recent interview with Jarvis, Priscilla addressed those dragging her for hiding her son’s face. The mum of one noted that he is her son, so she can do what she wants with him, and she will hide his face until she feels it’s okay.

The influencer had screamed with joy as her son called her ‘Mama’ first. She further revealed that her son was now sitting, crawling, talking, and even holding things to stand up straight.

Recall on Sunday, August 24th that Priscilla and Juma had welcomed their first child, a baby boy, named Prince Raheem Ayomide Mkambala.

In September, to celebrate their son as he turned 40-days-old, Priscilla and Juma hosted a gathering of family and friends in Tanzania.
