Nollywood actor Afeez Owo has reacted to a post praising him and his wife, Mide Martins.
A tweep had crowned the couple the most unproblematic Yoruba actors, noting that there is no kind of drama and that they twin together.
“Mide Martins and her husband are definitely the most unproblematic Yoruba actors we have. No any kind of drama. They just want to twin together”.
Another tweep said that one day, the couple will receive the recognition they deserve for their impact in the movie industry.
“One day, this couple will get their deserved recognition for their impact on the Nigerian movie industry”.
Reacting to it, Afeez churned out beautiful words to Mide, describing her as his partner, playmate, friend, best friend, backbone, pillar, angel, sugar, honey and everything.

A day ago, while posing a question to married men, Afeez vowed to marry Mide Martins in his next life.
In a recent interview, Afeez spoke about his 22-year marriage to Mide, revealing their pet names for each other. The comic actor revealed that their marriage isn’t the kind where the husband has to be strict, or the wife has to remain calm. He appreciated his wife and thanked her for tolerating him.
In a previous interview, Afeez addressed the 2016 separation rumours involving Mide, revealing that it was the only serious fight they had ever had in their marriage; luckily, they reconciled. Afeez admitted that he didn’t handle things well and scattered things. He noted that social media made it worse because it was something they could have resolved privately. Fortunately, they overcame it.
The couple got married in 2005 and has two children.
Recall that in 2016, Mide had publicly called out Afeez for moving out of their house and abandoning her and the kids.
Refuting the claims, in an interview, Afeez said Mide took the wrong advice from friends who wanted to cause havoc in their home.
In December, while receiving the Best Actress of the Year award from OAFP, Mide knelt as she appreciated Afeez Owo for his constant support. She appreciated, as she noted how without him, there is no her. She thanked him for being there for her since she lost her mother.
