US President Donald Trump said Thursday that talks with Iran are moving forward, telling CNBC he believes Tehran has accepted nearly all of Washington’s core demands.

“I think they’ve agreed to just about everything we need,” Trump said.

Trump has repeatedly avoided calling the ongoing conflict with Iran a war, according to CBS News. In the same interview, he described the situation as “the de-nuking of Iran” rather than a traditional conflict.
