A Nigerian man has reacted to the traditional marriage of content creator Peller and his partner Jarvis, expressing concern over their decision to settle down at a young age.

The man, identified as Ossai Ovie Success on Facebook, shared his thoughts shortly after videos from the ceremony surfaced online.

“Peller and Jarvis are too young for marriage”

In his post, he said he felt disappointed after watching the couple’s traditional marriage ceremony, adding that Peller, at 21, may be rushing into marriage.

According to him, what is currently visible between the couple appears more like content creation than a deep emotional connection.

“All I see between Peller and Jarvis right now is content, not connection,” he wrote.

Questions emotional readiness

He argued that marriage requires more than financial stability, stressing that emotional maturity and genuine connection are necessary for long-term success.

He also expressed doubt about the strength of their bond when public attention fades.

They’re young, talented, and entertaining, but emotionally and maritally, they’re not connected yet,” he stated.

Raises concern over age gap and expectations

Ossai also pointed out that Jarvis is older and more experienced, claiming this could create issue later in the relationship.

He further referenced an earlier comment reportedly made by Jarvis during a livestream, suggesting she had spoken about a possible prenup agreement.

Warns about rushing into marriage

He cautioned against rushing into marriage due to excitement or public attention, warning that it could lead to regret later.

“Marriage is good, but timing matters”

While acknowledging that marriage is a positive step, he maintained that timing is crucial for its success.

In his words: “PELLER & JARVIS ARE TOO YOUNG FOR MARRIAGE

I just watched Peller and Jarvis’ traditional marriage and I felt disappointed.

At 21, Peller is rushing into marriage And I believe it’s heading for marital disappointment.

All I see between Peller and Jarvis right now is content, not connection.

It’s not that I don’t want them to get married But one of the most disappointing things people do is rush into marriage because of money.

Marriage takes more than financial stability.

They’re young, talented, and entertaining But emotionally and maritally, they’re not connected yet.

I don’t see the depth, the maturity, or the kind of love that can sustain marriage when the cameras are off, when money is low, and when pressure comes.

Not only is Peller young and marrying at a young age, he’s marrying a woman who’s older than him, more exposed than him, and a woman who once said on a live stream that she’d make him sign a prenup so if they divorce tomorrow, she’d get half of his assets.

They’re making a big mistake by rushing into marriage now. “He who marries in a hurry, repents in leisure.”

Marriage is good, but timing is better.

I’m disappointed because I don’t want to see two brilliant young people become another cautionary tale.
