BREAKING: Kaduna Government Approves Safe Schools Policy, Security, Health Reforms

The Kaduna State Executive Council has approved a series of policies and projects aimed at strengthening security, improving education and healthcare services, and accelerating infrastructure development across the state.

The approvals were announced during a post-Executive Council briefing in Kaduna.

The Safety, Security, and Violence-Free Schools Policy is designed to provide a safe and conducive learning environment for pupils, students, and teachers across the state.

The Council also approved the procurement of additional security equipment and safety gear for the Kaduna State Vigilance Service to boost community-based security operations and improve response to security challenges.

In the health sector, the Council approved a bill for the establishment of the Kaduna State Private Health Services Regulatory Authority, which will regulate private healthcare facilities through licensing, accreditation and enforcement of standards.

The council says the decisions underscore the state’s commitment to strengthening security, improving public services, and promoting sustainable development across Kaduna State.
