He proudly noted that he earned the job through hard work and strong academic performance, saying his grades reflected his dedication and ability.

“I graduated from Egerton University in 2024 with a Second Class degree in Software Engineering. I was employed by a certain bank on May 12, 2026, and was fired on June 12, 2026.

The HR claimed that I had been joyriding and was essentially a ghost worker. Ironically, she was part of the interview panel that hired me alongside other officials. My biggest question is: Do you think a software engineer can be a ghost worker in a large commercial bank?” he asked.
He added that his workload and contributions were reflected in the company’s statistics and performance reports, saying the situation left him frustrated and depressed.
The graduate also appealed for advice from anyone who had experienced a similar situation or understood employment matters.
