“Every Citizen Deserves To Live, Work, And Move Freely Without Fear. Sustain Pressure For Release Of Abducted Ogbomosho Pupils” – Rep Member Begs Security Agencies

Hon. Akin Alabi, member of the House of Representatives from Oyo state, has urged security agencies to sustain efforts towards securing the release of pupils and teachers abducted in Ogbomosho.

Alabi made the appeal while reacting to the rescue of Busayo Adegoke, younger sister of Adebayo Adelabu, minister of power, and her two sons from captivity.

The lawmaker commended the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies involved in the operation.

“I am relieved that Chief Adebayo Adelabu’s younger sister, Mrs Busayo Adegoke and her two sons have been rescued from their abductors.

“Kudos to the Nigeria Police and all security operatives whose professionalism, intelligence gathering, and courage made this possible. Their efforts show that criminals can be tracked down and brought to justice,” he said.

Alabi said authorities must intensify efforts to rescue other victims still being held by kidnappers.

“However, we must not relent. Our thoughts remain with the kidnapped children and teachers in Ogbomosho who are still in captivity.

We must keep pushing for their safe release while sustaining the fight against kidnappers and other criminal elements threatening our communities.

“We say NO to these barbaric acts in Oyo State and Nigeria. Every citizen deserves to live, work, and move freely without fear.

Together, we must stand against insecurity and support all efforts to rid our state of kidnapping and violent crime,” he stated.
