The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, was spotted with former Nigerian international goalkeeper Emmanuel Babayaro during the official commissioning of the full-scope development of Collector Roads C01 and C02 in Mabushi District, Abuja.
According to a media post by Honourable Lere Olayinka, media aide to the FCT Minister, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, the newly completed road project links the Mabushi Bus Terminal to Ahmadu Bello Way and is expected to improve traffic flow, ease transportation, and enhance connectivity within the district.
The commissioning formed part of the FCT Administration’s ongoing infrastructure development programme aimed at expanding Abuja’s road network and improving access to key areas of the nation’s capital.
It was revealed that the event attracted government officials, traditional leaders, residents, and other dignitaries, with former Super Eagles goalkeeper Emmanuel Babayaro among those present.
