“Give Them What They Want”- VDM Reacts to New Kidnap Video, Calls Demands ‘Realistic’

Social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has stirred debate online after reacting to a newly released video involving the abducted principal of Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle, Oyo State.

In the video, the kidnapped principal reportedly dismissed earlier claims that the abductors were demanding the implementation of Sharia law, stating instead that they wanted some of their detained members released.

Reacting to the development, VDM said the situation had become clearer and suggested that the government consider meeting the kidnappers’ demands if it would secure the freedom of the abducted schoolchildren and teachers.

“This time, everything has become clear. I think the demands made by the kidnappers are realistic. Since all they want is for the government to release their own people, let President Tinubu and other security operatives give the kidnappers what they want so they can free those Oyo kidnapped school children and teachers,” he said.

His remarks quickly generated mixed reactions on social media, with some Nigerians expressing concern over the growing insecurity in the country, while others argued that negotiating with kidnappers could set a dangerous precedent.

The comments come amid ongoing efforts by security agencies to secure the release of the victims, whose abduction has continued to attract national attention.
