Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun says security around schools across the state has been stepped up. The move is aimed at protecting students and staff as they carry out daily academic activities.
According to the governor, the increased presence of security personnel is part of efforts to prevent any threat around educational institutions and to give parents more confidence sending their children to school.
He stressed that the safety of learners and teachers remains a top priority for his administration.
