Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has responded to BBNaija Cross Okonkwo for chastising him over his statement on Alex Ekubo’s Service of Songs.
Kemi Filani reported that Daddy Freeze, in a video posted on his Instagram page, while addressing his choice of outfit, he narrated his experience at the event. He condemned the pastor’s preaching, questioning why a sermon was needed at such a gathering.
Daddy Freeze also slammed Mercy Chinwo, claiming she turned the event into a concert. According to him, it was at this point that he got up and went home. The former OAP questioned whether people understand what a funeral is.
Responding to his statement, Cross criticised Freeze, telling him to keep his mouth shut. He admonished the media personality to stay mute if he didn’t know anything about Jesus Christ. He also admonished Freeze to leave mén and women of God alone.
Responding to him in a video captured online, he challenged him to find pastors who can heal one verified cripple out of 50. Freeze promised to provide N100 million within 72 hours – N50 million from himself and another N50 million from his supporters.
Sometimes back, the media personality had expressed disbelief at popular clergyman Pastor Jerry Eze’s miraculous healing at an event in the UK. Freeze, noted how gospel singer Yinka Ayefele has been in a wheelchair for years, yet the clergyman hasn’t healed him, but is going abroad to heal people
The former OAP reacted to the founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s revelation that he had raised 50 people from the dead in the last year. Freeze publicly appealed to the clergyman, urging him to add Mohbad and Mr Ibu.
To add to the list, Freeze had slammed Apostle Joshua Selman, over his inability to raise the dead after he narrated how he was locked up in a mortuary but was unable to raise the dead despite quoting several scriptures. Freeze questioned if he would accept such an excuse from doctors or pilots.
Daddy Freeze had stirred backlash after he revealed the several reasons why he couldn’t serve God, who he referred to as ‘god’. Big Brother Naija Bambam, who wasn’t pleased with his statement lectured him him with biblical references.
