Primate Ayodele Unveils 32nd “Warnings to the Nations”, Predicts Major Political, Security Developments

The Spiritual Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Saturday unveiled the 32nd edition of his annual prophetic publication, “Warnings to the Nations”, a compilation of revelations covering Nigeria, Africa, and the global community.

The book was presented during a world press conference held at the Alaseyori Parish of the church on Saturday, July 4.

Opening the event, Primate Ayodele reflected on the growth of his ministry and expressed appreciation to journalists who have consistently supported his prophetic work over the years before proceeding to the official presentation of the publication.

Speaking on the purpose of his prophecies, the cleric stressed that they are not intended to create fear or panic but to draw attention to impending developments that can be averted through prayer, wisdom, and appropriate action. He explained that there are occasions when he personally prays against the fulfilment of some of his revelations, noting that sincere worship and praises to God remain effective ways of averting negative prophecies.

He added that whenever God gives a prophet a revelation, the responsibility is simply to deliver the message without being distracted by public opinions or criticism.

Giving an overview of the 32nd edition of the book, Primate Ayodele highlighted prophecies covering politics, elections, insecurity, the corporate sector, the leadership of the United Nations, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and several international developments.

Addressing Nigeria’s security challenges, the cleric lamented what he described as widespread injustice and suffering across the country. He argued that banditry and terrorism would only be decisively tackled if government adopts stricter measures, including legislation prescribing the death penalty for convicted terrorists and bandits. He also maintained that the government knows what should be done to secure the release of the students and teachers recently abducted in Oyo State, urging authorities not to allow the incident to become another Chibok Girls tragedy.

On the forthcoming governorship election in Oyo State, Primate Ayodele said no political party currently has a clear advantage. However, he noted that Governor Seyi Makinde’s political fortunes would improve significantly if he succeeds in securing the release of the kidnapped students and teachers.

He advised broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat to shelve any governorship ambition, insisting that he would not become the next governor of Oyo State. He also predicted that Senator Sharafadeen Alli would face betrayal despite enjoying the support of the Olubadan, Oba Rasheed Ladoja. According to him, Alli possesses the qualities to emerge as the best candidate, but political betrayal could ultimately frustrate his ambition. He further stated that Governor Makinde’s ability to actively campaign would largely depend on the successful rescue of the abducted victims.

Turning to Ogun State, Primate Ayodele predicted that an individual would emerge to challenge the governorship aspiration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant, Senator Olanilekan Solomon, popularly known as Yayi. According to him, the individual would institute a legal challenge on the grounds that Yayi previously contested for the Senate in Lagos State. He said the lawsuit could become the senator’s major obstacle, although he maintained that Yayi remains difficult to defeat in a free and fair election if the legal issues are properly managed.

He dismissed suggestions that Ladi Adebutu would emerge victorious in the Ogun governorship election, insisting that the former governorship candidate would not win.

Primate Ayodele also predicted that the APC would encounter political challenges in Adamawa, Niger, Katsina and Benue states. He specifically stated that the party would lose the governorship election in Adamawa, describing the eventual outcome as shocking. He added that the incumbent government in Taraba State would retain power regardless of the opposition, noting that its second term would record better performance.

Speaking on Kwara State, the prophet predicted internal divisions within the APC, while stating that a candidate backed by former Senate President Bukola Saraki stands a strong chance of winning the governorship election. He, however, warned that failure to properly strategize could hand victory back to the APC.

On Lagos politics, he advised APC governorship candidate Obafemi Hamzat to build stronger political alliances if he genuinely hopes to succeed. He noted that the Lagos governorship election would not be an easy contest but maintained that the APC could still retain the state if it effectively manages internal interests and carries all stakeholders along.

In Osun State, Primate Ayodele predicted victory for Governor Ademola Adeleke but cautioned him to remain vigilant if he intends to secure another term. According to him, the APC would deploy every available political strategy in its bid to reclaim the state.

He also expressed reservations about the ongoing campaign for the creation of state police, warning that the initiative may ultimately fail to achieve its intended objectives.

Speaking on the 2027 presidential election, Primate Ayodele said the contest would revolve around President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, adding that the North would ultimately determine the outcome of the election.

On former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, he predicted that the former Anambra State governor would eventually become politically irrelevant. He advised Obi to exercise patience, insisting that he has yet to fully understand the political calculations surrounding the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Commenting on former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Primate Ayodele described his current political challenges as temporary developments. He maintained that El-Rufai would eventually overcome the situation, adding that the government understands the implications of confronting him politically.

Responding to those who describe him as a controversial prophet, Primate Ayodele said controversy is inseparable from divine assignments, noting that even God faced criticism. He added that he has become Nigeria’s most controversial prophet because he speaks the truth without fear or favour.

The cleric also spoke about his commitment to the welfare of church members, referencing the recent empowerment programme organised during the church’s Thanksgiving celebration. According to him, his desire is to see members become more successful than himself, stressing that he derives fulfilment from improving their lives and opportunities.

On the controversy surrounding the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Primate Ayodele disclosed that he made several unsuccessful attempts to reach the former Speaker of the House of Representatives after receiving the revelation. He explained that he eventually made the prophecy public online in the hope that it would get to him. According to the cleric, Gbajabiamila’s political opponents are working to undermine him, describing the current developments as a warning rather than the end of the matter.
