Nigerian gospel singer Kunle Kenny has sparked discussions online after revealing his plans to undergo a vasectomy.
The singer made the statement in a post shared on X, where he explained that he does not want his wife to bear the physical effects often associated with hormonal birth control methods.
Singer Speaks on Birth Control Decision
According to Kunle Kenny, decisions around having children should be mutual and agreed upon by both partners.
He stated that he and his wife would only have children when they both decide the time is right.
I’ll Take Responsibility
The gospel singer explained that after having the number of children they agree on, he plans to take responsibility for preventing future pregnancies.
Sharing his thoughts, he wrote:
“Nobody is putting any birth control thing inside my wife’s body. No extraneous chemicals or pills. We will only have kids when we BOTH unanimously agree, as God allows in His mercy.”
He added:
“And when we’re done, I’m getting a vasectomy. A woman’s body is too sensitive for these chemicals. The side effects are crazy!”
