Veteran Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, has expressed deep concern over the worsening security situation in Nigeria, lamenting that insecurity has deprived him of his preferred means of transportation.
Speaking during an ongoing protest in Abuja, the actor addressed security operatives and urged authorities to take decisive action to curb the growing threat posed by criminal activities across the country.
“I love travelling by road, but today I am being denied my preferred means of transportation because of insecurity,” Ike said.
He warned that the consequences of unchecked insecurity could affect every Nigerian regardless of status or background.
“Don’t allow this insecurity to go too far; tomorrow, it could be your own children,” he told the security personnel.
