Social media users have reacted to the directive from the founder of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).
The clergyman, Dr D.K Olukoya, had directed all its branches to end church programmes by 8pm. Vigils and overnight meetings have also been suspended until further notice.
The church said the decision was taken in the interest of the safety and well-being of its members amid prevailing security challenges in the country. The church stressed that the measures were precautionary and mandatory for all levels of the ministry.

Pastor Adeboye admitted that his statement saying those who don’t pay tithe wouldn’t make heaven is wrong as it isn’t stated in the Bible. He noted how what the Bible talks about is following peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see God.
Reacting to it, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye noted how it takes humility for a man like him to apologize. He stated that if God hadn’t corrected him in the secret, he wouldn’t have done that.
Also, reacting to it, Charly Boy, had stated that the clergyman’s apology didn’t mean shit unless he promised to return the tithe money. The legendary singer added that sometimes the nicest people one meets may have bodies covered with tattoos, while the ones who go to church on Sundays are the most bitter, judgmental, envious, and wicked.
