Ireland has barred Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich from entering the country.
Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin confirmed the move on Friday, saying the ministers’ conduct “justifies sanctions at EU level” and accusing them of promoting the displacement of Palestinians. Ireland’s justice minister has instructed immigration officials to refuse entry to both ministers should they attempt to enter the country.
