“Is Every Rich Person Successful?- Uche Elendu Questions Society’s Definition Of Success

Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has sparked a conversation about how society defines success and whether wealth should be used as its main yardstick.

Taking to her Instagram page, she questioned if money has become the ultimate measure of success, and whether every successful person is necessarily rich, or every rich person can truly be considered successful.

“Has money become the measure of success? Is money really the measure of success? Let’s hear your thoughts. Is every successful person rich? And is every rich person successful?” she wrote, adding that she considers the topic a “deeply intellectual conversation” and encouraged her followers to share their opinions.

In the comment section, Elendu further explained her personal view, stating that while she believes rich people can be seen as successful, success goes beyond wealth alone.

According to her, true success involves a sense of total life satisfaction, not just financial achievement.

“Well, in my opinion, yes, but not totally o because a successful person must have achieved total life satisfaction to attain that title. If you don’t have money, e remain. But there are a whole lot of other things to possess to be called successful,” she added.
