The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), on Tuesday, 16 June, 2026 released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination mop-up exercise, reports thegazellenews.com.
JAMB Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, who announced the release of the results through a statement issued on Tuesday, said candidates who took part in the mop-up examination could now check their results through the board’s approved result-checking channels.
“Following the successful conclusion of the mop-up exercise and the release of the results, the Board will commence the ranking of candidates.
“Thereafter, the printing of results for admission purposes is expected to begin before the weekend,” Benjamin said in the statement, just as he also thanked candidates and other stakeholders for their patience and cooperation throughout the process.
Thegazellenews.com recalled that the mop-up examination was held on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
It was organised for candidates who were biometrically verified for the main UTME but could not sit for the examination due to technical glitches, biometric issues or other disruptions at their centres.
The main 2026 UTME was conducted between April 16 and April 25, 2026.
